Midweek Connect: 12/23/20 ~ Connecting around the world

Greetings and Happy Midweek!

We are fast approaching the end of this year which will definitely go down in history...for all its challenges, crises and yes, also some amazing innovations and valuable transitions. 2020 - it’s been a wild, unpredictable, unimaginable ride, hasn’t it?!

And as we approach the Holiday Season - whatever Holidays you celebrate during the Season where-ever and in whatever way you celebrate them...I bet you are doing something different because of one or several of the huge changes 2020 brought into your life!

So I’d like to invite you to share one thing you are doing differently this year to celebrate with your family and friends

or to ring out the old year and ring in the new one

or to settle into the Winter whatever that looks like where you are.

My one thing is that I am going to take the traditional 12 days of Christmas, which I have celebrated in many different ways in many different places over the years, and go virtual this year...zooming my way each of the 12 days into a different gathering of family and friends’ hosting ”Christmas around the world” tours from my new tiny home here in central Pennsylvania, USA. I’ll be focusing on how my multi-cultural life these past 4 decades (between Africa, Europe, America and Asia), is reflected in the ways I have decorated my home.

Since the people receiving this are living all over the world, I am hoping for a wonderful kaleidoscope of multi-cultural moments as we share with each other in this way. So, please do respond with a comment below.
